| Man what is up with the ACC and Big 10? Thank God for Maryland with the squeaker victory over DELAWARE?!?!?!? I'm not necessarily an Alabama fan but it looked like Hoover High playing a junior high team when they destroyed Clemson. Bowden looked like he was trying to figure out what to put on his resume after that terrible display of the Best ACC School against the (Supposedly) 5th or 6th best SEC School. VA Tech getting beat by East Carolina?!?!?!?!? Michigan getting thumped by Utah which really wasn't a big surprise to anyone but still Michigan getting beat by UTAH!?!?!?!?! Ohio State is the pride and joy of the Big 10, and they did look good, but your best RB Mr. Beanie hurts his foot when your up by over 40 points in the 3rd quarter against Youngstown State. What in the world is Tressel thinking? I sincerely hope it's not serious as I hate to see someone get injured. And I don't want any excuses after USC takes THE Ohio State University behind the woodshed in two weeks. Man USC looked really good against Virginia too. They are going to be really tough to beat this year and I believe have a great shot to play in the BCS Championship game. And of course the Big 12 conference, 2nd best conference in the nation next to the SEC looked solid with Mizzou taking the 2nd best team in the Big 10 down on Prime Time TV. And finally, Oklahoma hanging half a century on Chatanooga by halftime leading them 50-0. yeah, yeah I know it's Chattanooga, but still that's an impressive score by HALFTIME! OU did the smart thing by pulling their starters after the first half and letting our second/third teams get some playing time to minimize any risk of injury to starters. Great weekend of college football and I hope everyone has a great Labor Day Weekend! I'm just calling it as I see it so if you disagree then feel free to retort! |
