League Of Fools

GAK is still awful. Asking about good pickups this week... shoo. A good pickup coulda been last week with Buckhalter. Too bad GAK was busy dealing crack at the pumpkin patch rather than tending to his fantasy team. How was Rooks able to get Buckhalter in waivers last week. I expect more from the less accomplished teams.

Club216 has a funny name and a funny picture. Unfortunately, his main weapon is incapacitated for 4 weeks. Romo was buoying the Club, but he's out just in time to play the almighty Hammer. Hammer thanks Romo. (Although Hammer has Romo in another league. In that league, it's not funny).

Wagon wouldn't have won this week even if he tried. But keeping your #1 pick (Stephen Jackson) on the bench in favor of a player on a bye (Larry Johnson) just isn't smart management. Maulers' win was an abberration. No QB. No TE. One point ahead going into Monday facing the NYG defense. NYG comes up with zippy for Ex. I'm happy about that since Ex is my main competition. Is this a sign that Maulers is all powerful or just a fluke? I'll go with fluke.

Believe me, Bums is really trying hard to get back to the glory of old. I think Bums went to the playoffs her first 6-7 years in the league. The past 4-5 years, she's been HURTING. What happened to yesteryear? Anyway, Bums laid an egg this week, tying Wagon for low score. If only Carpenter woulda went another week without setting his lineup. Bums woulda won with Peyton on the bench... but look what happens when you submit a lineup! Props to Crapenter.

I've added up the score many times now for the Norse-Hammer game. I still don't know how Hammer lost. It's truly a travesty. At least the trade between Hammer and Freaks worked out for somebody (Freaks). Freaks rode the trade to the W column. I'm going to ride Freaks to the promised land next time I see him.
